Food & Fund Drives are important to our mission of distributing nutritious food to our hungry and food insecure neighbors across Alabama. Food Drives are an interactive and rewarding experience for your place of employment, church group, school, or organization to collect food to donate to the Heart of Alabama Food Bank. Every donation counts, whether you are one person looking to help or want to involve others as a group!
Here are some tips, and how to get started:

- Set a goal for your food drive
- Set a start date and end date for your food drive.
- HAFB can provide boxes or barrels to collect food donations, contact us, and we will have those items ready for you to pick up at our location!
Host a Fund Drive to collect monetary donations that will be used to support our programs here at HAFB. If you would like to host a Fund Drive, we can create a custom donation page. Fund Drives are especially impactful because a $1 donation provides 5 meals.
Maximize your efforts by hosting a Food & Fund Drive, giving your group an opportunity to donate funds and food in order to make a bigger impact!
