Volunteer Experience Specialist
The Heart of Alabama Food Bank is seeking a Volunteer Experience Specialist to help ensure every volunteer has a positive, meaningful experience while supporting our mission to fight hunger. This part-time role (15–20 hours/week) greets and orients volunteers, provides onsite training and guidance, and creates a welcoming, energetic atmosphere during shifts. The Specialist also helps with preparing workspaces, monitoring safety, coordinating supplies, and assisting with light administrative tasks. Ideal candidates are dependable, friendly, and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills and a passion for serving others.
