For over two decades, HAFB has partnered with local correctional facilities to provide incarcerated individuals with meaningful work experience in our warehouse. Now, we’re taking that commitment further by integrating education and certification opportunities into the inmate work experience—ensuring they don’t have to choose between earning income and advancing their future.
Program Highlights:
- Inmates gain hands-on experience in warehouse operations while earning credentials in high-demand fields.
- Training and certifications are coordinated in partnership with ISTC and supported by DOC oversight.
- Participants are paid for training time and receive incentive stipends for completed certifications.
- Graduates receive job coaching, letters of recommendation, and may be eligible for ongoing support or permanent placement.

Forklift Operation
OSHA10
EPA 608 and 609
ServSafe
Certified Logistics Assistant (CLA)
Certified Logistics Technician (CLT)
