The Inventory Systems Coordinator at the Heart of Alabama Food Bank plays a critical behind-the-scenes role in making sure food moves efficiently from the warehouse to the community. This position manages the food bank’s primary inventory system, helping track food from the moment it arrives to when it is distributed to partner agencies. The coordinator works closely with multiple departments, serving as a bridge between operations, programs and technology, while also maintaining data accuracy, reporting and system improvements. By overseeing inventory processes, supporting staff training and ensuring strong communication across teams, this role helps the food bank operate smoothly and deliver food to families, seniors and children as quickly and effectively as possible.
